Accessing iMedConsent

You will access iMedConsent in one of two ways:
• From your EMR
• Using a URL
Note: The first time you log in to iMedConsent, you are given the option to define your
preferences. This is a one-time setup that can be done during the first login or later. For more
information, see User Preferences.

Accessing iMedConsent from Your EMR
The most common way of accessing iMedConsent is from your EMR.

1. Log in to your EMR.
2. Select a patient.
3. Select the iMed tab.
Note: If you access iMedConsent from your EMR, the Select Patient (Patient Search) button is
not available.
Once you select a patient and launch iMedConsent, you can run any document for that patient.
When the document is complete, it is send back to the EMR for processing.
